Decal Application Instructions
Step 1: CLEAN
Clean the area with plain water or rubbing alcohol and a clean cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners or vehicle window sprays before application.
Step 2: PEEL
Peel the solid backing off the decal and transfer tape. If there are any issues with sticking, see our FAQs below for tips!
Step 3: APPLY
Apply the decal to the chosen surface using a squeegee, plastic card, or other applicator to apply pressure. Apply smooth, even pressure across the decal for best results.
Step 4: REMOVE
Remove the transfer tape from the decal and surface. We suggest lifting slowly and starting with a corner.
DECAL APPLICATION FAQs
MY DECAL IS STUCK TO THE PAPER?
Extreme weather can cause the adhesive on the back of your decal or the transfer paper to "set" early. This can be easily fixed by warming your decal using a gentle heat source (like a hair dryer) to slowly warm the decal and reactivate the adhesive. This will allow for easy removal of the backing or transfer papers.
WHY ISN'T MY DECAL STICKING?
Decals will adhere to most smooth, firm surfaces. If a surface is textured or made from soft materials, the decals won’t stick. Chemical residue can also cause adhesion issues. Make sure to clean the area with plain water or rubbing alcohol and cloth to remove any residue for best results. If you are applying to a vehicle, we advise not going through a commercial car wash or using chemical sprays like de-icer on your windows before application.
